In Peru 600,000 liters of blood are needed each year and less than half is collected. Even knowing this, public medical centers have rejected hundreds people for their sexual orientation, believing they have high possibilities of carrying an STD. To change this the Rainbow Blood movement was born. Previously rejected donors made STS tests.
